An alternative album cover for Hold Me Down by Motion City Soundtrack, illustrated in the style of Mike Mignola (roughly).
A college project, we were to design an alternative cover for an album based on an artist we admired. I chose Mike Mignola and went about designed an alternative cover for the Hold Me Down album by Motion City Soundtrack.

This is the final back of the sleeve.
The heart presented itself after a lot of doodling while trying to hone in on Mignola's style. After doodling it and deciding I like it, I scanned it an finished it in Illustrator.
